Behind the camera, I’m a wife, a mom, and Christ follower. I find so much joy in faith, family, and the beauty of the island! I love all the coastal hues, grand millennial blues and white, creams, greens, pastels and I pull inspiration from that often.
I’m married to the love of my life, Braden, and together we have two littles, one boy (McClain, 3), and one girl (Amelia, 1). After years of social media management and capturing my own babies, I decided to start offering photography to others and the Lord has grown it from there!
St. Simons, Sea Island, Jekyll Island, and all of the little surrounding pockets of coastal beauty make my job a bit easier! I love capturing beautiful people (you!), in beautiful places. I’ve had multiple clients turn friends and truly love getting to know each family I get to work with.
My approach
You don’t need to worry about how to stand or what to do, that’s my job!
I’ll offer gentle prompting and direction throughout your session as needed, while also leaving space for candid, natural moments . Nothing forced, nothing performative, especially for kids!
I create light-filled, true-to-color images with a timeless feel. Photos you’ll love now and appreciate even more with time.
"Ana was truly incredible from start to finish. My fiancé connected with her through a recommendation, and he couldn’t stop talking about how seamless and easy she made the entire process. She was so thoughtful, even telling him she wouldn’t reach out in case I might see his phone, but that he could call her anytime. He really appreciated the level of attention and care that went into a sometimes stressful situation.
On the day of our engagement, there was an unexpected event at the Cloister that made their planned spot inaccessible, but Ana handled it flawlessly. She quickly called my fiancé and redirected him to a new location, which ended up being absolutely perfect. Her calmness in the situation really calmed my fiancé’s nerves too!
After the engagement, she captured the most beautiful photos of us, and photographed the moment my family surprised me afterward. She got amazing family shots and then went above and beyond by sending us sneak peeks and a video of the engagement that same night/next morning.
What really stood out was that she offered to take additional photos the next day. She didn’t want to pull me away from celebrating with my family the night of the engagement, but still wanted to make sure we had everything we could want. That was so thoughtful and completely unexpected.
During the shoots, she was fantastic at guiding us on how to pose in a way that felt natural and never forced or uncomfortable. And most importantly, I absolutely love the photos. We will truly treasure them forever.
