There is something so timeless about a senior session at The Cloister at Sea Island. Between the elegant courtyards, sweeping marsh views, and classic architecture, it offers one of the most beautiful backdrops on the Georgia coast for graduation photos.
Addison reached out to me at the beginning of the year about planning her senior photos at Sea Island. She and her mom, Missy, made nearly a five-hour drive to stay at the Beach Club for the session, which made the entire experience feel even more special. I never take it lightly when families travel for photos, and we made sure to use every minute of our time together.
We began near The Cloister Chapel before heading toward the marsh for those soft, open coastal views. From there, we explored the Cloister courtyards, capturing a mix of classic portraits and natural, candid moments. One of my favorite parts of senior sessions at The Cloister is the variety, from the architecture to the warmth of the interior spaces like the Cloister solarium. We even took a few fun photos by the beach.
My graduating senior sessions are typically one hour, which allows for multiple outfits and a relaxed pace. Addison chose two beautiful looks: a classic white dress that photographed effortlessly, and a stunning pink outfit set that added the perfect pop of color against the backdrops. To finish, she changed into her college tee, Alabama for Addison, which always makes for such a fun and celebratory ending to a senior session!
By the time we had captured all the poses (and got in all the steps 😉), we had built a gallery that felt polished, joyful, and uniquely her. Senior year is such a milestone worth documenting.
